National Hero Brigadier General (Rtd) Samuel Mpabanga, will be buried at the National Heroes Acre on Wednesday.

Brig-Gen Mpabanga (69) died last week on Monday at Gwanda General Hospital and was conferred with the National Hero status by President Mnangagwa last Saturday.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Mr Philemon Chiripanyanga, confirmed the development.

“He will be buried on Wednesday the 18th,” he said.
