Mkhululi Ncube and Andile Tshuma

A funeral service for the late National Hero, Brigadier General (Rtd) Samuel Mpabanga, is being held at a funeral parlour in Bulawayo ahead of the body being airlifted to  Harare. 

The service, led by the Roman Catholic Church, is being attended by family members, church congregants, members of the military, ZANU-PF and Government officials, as well as members of the public.

Following the church service, the body will be taken to Khumalo Barracks before being airlifted to Harare.
